Effective December 1, 2009:
The cost of a certified copy (which contains a raised seal of the town) of a recorded Birth, Death, or Marriage is $15.00 each, $5.00 each additional page at time of ordering. Copies can be obtained by mail (allow 10 to 14 days): A written request must contain the name of the individual, date of birth, marriage or death, parent’s names, number of copies ordered and a check or money order in exact amount, made payable to City/Town of West Springfield. Or copies can be obtained in person (allow 1 working day from the date and time of payment and ordering): in the Town Clerk's Office on the first floor during regular business hours of Monday through Friday 8 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
